Finally it is finished! I've been working on this since summer last year. Half of the time has been waiting for paint to dry on the armor pieces, and to get all of that to look just right.

Aniwave is an anime and japanese culture convention in North Carolina. I was asked to make a plush of the mascot character, to be shown at each convention. Honored with this opportunity, I couldn't say no. I'm very happy with the way it came out. The plush ended up being super time consuming and difficult, and basically took a year longer than I expected.

My friends kept saying they were surprised how big it was when they saw it in person, so that's why I included a picture of myself, to give some scale to it.

It's about 2 and half feet tall.
Fabric for the body is Minky / Cuddle 3 Fleece.
All the armor is made in combinations of styrofoam, craft foam, and sculpey clay.
His breathing apparatuses have actual blue tinted water sealed in them.
The eyes are resin and hand painted from behind as usual.
All accessories are removable, including the eyes, in case it ever needs to be washed or something.

I have found that it is hard for me to do commissions unless I am very passionate about what I am making. For now I think I will only make what I want to make. I apologize to those who dearly want me to make something specific for them.
